LCM gives this advice regarding choosing pieces to play for the Leisure play exam:

Candidates are required to perform FOUR pieces.
At least THREE of these pieces are to be selected from the set lists for the equivalent grade. There is no requirement
to select the pieces from different lists, as may be required in the equivalent graded syllabus, but candidates and
teachers should endeavour to ensure that the overall programme is contrasted and balanced.

it then goes on to say

There is no
requirement to select at least one piece from the LCM Grade Handbook (where available).

[color=#000000] I am a bit confused about where to select pieces from> it initially looked like you chose from the LCM grade 5 syllabus (which I thought was in the Grade Handbook) and then seems to imply this is not the case.

So, if I want to do the grade 5 violin Leisure play exam, where should I select me pieces from?

There are additional choices to those in the handbook.
For the 'normal' grade exams at least one piece has to be from the Handbook.
For Leisure play you can choose any three from the syllabus without having to choose on that is in the Handbook.

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to access everything online and thought the handbook was the same as the syllabus. Please would you direct me to where I can find the syllabus and the handbook (because I seem to be completely incompetent in doing so!) I would be very very grateful woot.gif

Syllabus is here.
Repertoire lists are here.

LCM is a pain to find information as they don't call what you play in the exam the syllabus.
