I used to get each thread as a continuous stream of posts, then maybe a couple of weeks ago, I started to be shown just the first post and the latest one, with the threaded listings below. That may be fine if I don't want to wade through loads of them, but sometimes you do just want to read through as though it were a continuous narrative. Has the layout of the threads been changed, or have I altered my settings without realising it?

Also, I seem to be getting an awful lot of pink error messages. I'm used to the ones where you ask for something too soon and get warned about flood control, but now it seems that when I click on "last post by..." at least half of them come up as unobtainable becasue "some files may be missing" or a similar message. Again, is it just me who's getting this problem, or is this something new going on?

mine is just the same as it usually is, however, mine did do that a month or so ago, try clicking the lo-fi version link at the bottom of the page then go back to full version.............

In reference to your last point, linda.ff, I sometimes try and search for all my posts on the boards through my member profile (it's called being easily bored ) and the forums won't let me do that because of 'flood control', even if this is the first and only search I've made in the last x number of days/weeks on here.

My guess is that this is to stop us 'stalking' other people too much (so we can't bring up their profiles and do the same search on them), but it annoys me that this then means I can't access a list form of my own posts either!!

This is a Google Chrome blip, I've found. It works fine if I log on with Firefox.

Shall have to do a bit of sleuthing tomorrow to see if there's any way round this as I don't really want to have to start using IE specially for the forums just for the odd occasion when I'm bored, and I can't be bothered signing in and out to go between Chrome/IE.

Have you accidentally clicked on the 'Options' button (to the right of your post) and changed one of the Display Modes?

Yes, sounds like she is in Outline Mode instead of Standard...
