My son has been playing Baritone horn for 3 years (first 2 years with a group at school and last year with individual lessons) and recently got a distinction in his G1. He's really keen and shows quite a lot of promise (I'm a singing teacher and have G7 in French Horn). We're looking at buying him a Baritone that will be suitable for him now and for years to come. However, I've no idea how to tell if a horn is going to be suitable for him. Some are clearly marked as student horns, but, again, I've no idea how long those would last him. Can anyone suggest any Baritones that would be ideal for him?
