Hello!

Is anyone in and around Warwick, Leamington Spa area available for playing chamber music for pleasure? I can travel to Coventry, Birmingham or anywhere nearby and reachable by train.

I am about Grade 6 Clarinettist, moderate sight-reader (improving).

Any instrument is welcome but preferably woodwind or string as it is easy find sheet music!!

I also have a listing on http://www.acmp.net/index.php

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I know there are a few forumites that way. I would be interested depending where it was, but I am about 45-60 mins from those places.

Great! I am not sure where it would be. Depends on where the other players are from...if you don't mind me asking, where are you from nicki_flute? You can PM me if you don't want it to be public.

I live in a small flat, so may not be ideal for more than 3 people (wishful thinking!) but there are couple of places (in Leamington) I have in mind. One is the home of a local Brass Band and the other is a dance studio that the local orchestra uses for their practice.

If nothing works out I could seek permission at my office to use one of the meeting rooms... ph34r.gif

I'm now Warwickshire based, post grade 8 clarinettist and I took my grade 5 viola 13 hours ago.
