I think it is about time for me to get a good music term dictionary for my daughter (and me). "Oxford Dictionary of Musical Terms (Oxford Paperback Reference" looks good.

Can anybody recommend a nice dictionary please?

Depends how big you want it to be...I got the Collins Pocket dictionary of music which had the vast majority of terms in it, as well as a host of other useful stuff, and didn't fill my bag up either!!

Thank you Sunrise for your recommendation. I did not think at all about the size!
