A format of the day would be much appreciated by anyone who has been before!

There is a mass saxophone ensemble at the start of the day.

As I understand it the workshops are a mixture of practical ones with saxophones and others without. There are also several performances during the event and a concert at the end. Lots of trade stands for all things saxy.

Everyone takes at least one sax along

I tend to go for as many practical sessions as possible : usually there's a 'Sax Assault' playing session with Andy Scott that's always worth attending

I may try and attend this year! It's been about 6 years since I last went with Saxophonist and saxlover!!!

Good to see you posting again do you think you can persuade either/both of the above to come too?

I may go. My life is a bit hectic at the moment, but if it's calmed down a bit in time I'd like to make it. Especially since none of the things I'm struggling to juggle at the moment is music related and I'm missing it!

Have decided to leave on the silly-o'clock train from London tomorrow morning, so will miss the initial choir, but will be there otherwise.

Saw Apollo Sax Quartet in May we all really enjoyed it. Have a great time!

Sax Assault playing locally in a couple of weeks time I'm surpless to requirements so I won't be going.

Was a good (half, thanks to Virgin Trains messing up) day! Was certainly good to catch up with what emsoboe was doing.

A little disappointed there was no Sax Assault session this year, perhaps it will return in 2013...
