Does anyone know if AB are going to bring out grades 6-8 for the piano, and if so when??

Yes i believe i have heard the Board are in the process of developing jazz piano for the higher grades, i'm personally looking forward to seeing the higher grades for the horn syllabus too but that may be some time away yet.

Originally, when the Grades 1-5 Jazz Piano came out, it was said that Grades 6-8 would be out in 2004 - but I think all the work on the jazz horns syllabus has pushed the date back by a long time,
I wish they'd bring out at least Grade 6, so that my pupils who have passed Grade 5 could have some new material to work on!

Joe, have you thought about looking at the jazz syllabuses other examining boards have such as LCM or Guildhall. I know they offer jazz horn exams up to grade 8 or are you like me better the Devil you know than the Devil you don't?
