Hello everyone...
Just got my exam date from my teacher it's 19/3/05.
at 14.27 (Strange ..why not 14.30) ......It's a Saturday.....is this overtime....they must be busy
I started looking at grade 3 pieces they look much harder than grade two... .it doesn't look a natural progression to the next grade it looks like a giant leap for mankind...

Mine is a normal time! 10.15!!

Flute exam is 12:08, piano is 12:40. Hope I don't get muddled up & go at the wrong time. Hope the examiner isn't cross & hypoglycaemic cos it's just before lunch & he's had a long morning.

hopefully my examiner will be tired after a long day and will be asleep so cant hear me play badly!!

they always give you a time but for some reason theyre always late or early! ..........

they are not always late or early. remember they often cant help it if they are running late. its the candidate that dictates the speed of the exam

I don't think that you are meant to go from one grade straight to the next..
There is a bridge to build in between grades. Otherwise it would all be one grade...

Yes indeed and what happened to the accaciatura or whatever it was that you were practising after the exam . I think that grade 2 to 3 is a bigger gap than from 1 to 2, particularly on the sight reading front.

exactly so take your time, dont rush
