Help... have a student studying Binks Waltz exam March 11 still struggling to play the opening staccatos. Bow is not controlled..... sometimes after a few goes it sounds good sometimes spiccato, sometimes short, sometimes loud or soft never the same. What are the examiners looking for .... Sometimes on the string or off. What should I concentrate on..... how can I help him improve fast running out of ideas
