I just got a new violin and am very happy with it. However, one of the pegs sticks out about 3 millimeters. I am wondering if this is going to cause problems. If it will is it possible to fix it?
If any of you could help that would be greatly apreciated.

It won't cause any problems. As the pegbox wears, the pegs will gradually come through more and more, there's nothing you can do about that short of bushing the pegbox.

Yes of course it can be replaced. You might have to get it fitted though.
