I was just reading something about dreaming, and it said that some of Mozart's music was written because he had heard it in his dream. By any chance did this happen to anyone on these forums? Maybe thats where all the genius comes from.

I've done composition in the middle of the night before, but that was only because I couldn't sleep, and then thought of something so wrote it down, I wasn't actually asleep!

Are you playing it in your dream, or is it in the background? Or somewhere else??!

that has only happened to me once. I had a dream and there was ssome music in it. after spending ages trying to work out how it went I wrote it down and went back to bed. when I got up in the morning I played it through and realised it was the same piece we had been listening to in music the day before!!

I know, when I dream music I'm always scared to write it down and use it in case it's not really my own and I've just heard it somewhere!

It's been finished a while! Except the other teacher who works there told me to add a section in to introduce a section, but I think it sound rubbish like that, so we're gonna have a huge fight about it next time I see him!
He only comes in twice a week, and I didn't get to play it to him this week and tell him why I think it's stupid!
I got bored in half term, so I started writing another one!

Wow, Haribo Rag, sounds interesting! Is it based on those Haribo sweets? Or is some kid-style Ragtime? Or is it nothing to do with Haribo Sweets at all? Oh well, could you post it up here when you've finished it, coz I'd love to hear how it sounds!
I don't get music from dreams, coz I don't dream.
I'm always too tired to dream.
I was born with ears, but I have no idea where Nat got her ears from. Apparently she got them in the post! Nat(alie - I think), what are you doing opening Nat(han)'s post?!
