most people will know the acrobat, by greenwood, (for trombone). After a boy played it at our school in a clown suit, it has achieved legendary status. however, i found out that he wrote another piece called the jester. Has anybody ever played this, and know where I could source the music for my trombone playing amigo

I have never seen or heard jester, but have played many a time The Acrobat. It's such a fun piece to learn and a great one to perform. Dragging out those glissandos and then whipping up the slide hehe!

Never played it in a clown suit though lol!
