Hiya, I think I've already asked this but what do you do in theory exam? Is it just like in the theory books by Eric Taylor? huh.gif ohmy.gif smile.gif

Yes.. but once you have worked through that you can get coppies of past exam papers. If you do a few of these you will get to know how questions are likely to be presented.

im doing my grade three or four theory next term, i havent done a theory exam yet and im really starting to panic now, well 9im bricking it to be honest!!! anyone out there got anything reasurring to say about them?

As long as you have practised some past papers then you will find it very easy, they are similar questions every year. Also remember that the pass mark is only 66, therefore you only need to get 2/3 of the marks to pass, if you have done sufficient preparation this should be a doddle. Don't rush, there is usually plenty of time, and go through everything at least twice to check you have not made any mistakes.

And make sure you know key signatures inside out... one of the girls in my music class is supposed to be sitting grade 5 in the next session, but still asks me what the key signature of f major is... blink.gif
