Who were the 4 people that got 146/150?! ohmy.gif unsure.gif Did anyone actually get 150/150?!

Wobby

p.s. By they way, for anyone who was wondering, the reason why I always type 'Wobby' at the bottom of each post is so I can track down my posts using the search! smile.gif

I got 130 for grade 5 piano which is my best practical mark. I also got 100% for grade 5 theory although most people do well in their theory.

I lost 5 marks in composing sad.gif but I still got 94%

Bah! I got 89%!!! mad.gif

oh well. I'd rather get 85 than 89.

Erm...Mine is 138 for grade 8 piano. smile.gif

My son (12 ) got 142 for grade 4 piano and 139 for grade 2 cello last summer.

136 for flute grade 4. Hoping to keep up the record next time I have an exam...
possom
133 for grade 8 piano, 128 grade 8 treble recorder, can remember getting a really high distinction for a string instrument (lowish grade), but can't remember which one, could be double bass, violin or viola, gave up all three so I guess I blocked it out tongue.gif

Well, I've only done one exam, which was Grade 4 last year, but I got 134!! biggrin.gif

i wonder how can a person score 100 percent full marks in the theory exam????????i thought that it's impossible to score full marks in composing melody?

Correction: It's not impossible, but it's really difficult.
I always get 7-12 in practice papers and 10 for the exam.
For lower grades, it's not that rare to get full marks for theory.

unfortunately yes, i was thinking of retaking grade1 to improve my aural mark....my teacher said that getting 150/150 at grade 8 is disgraceful and i should also be ashamed of my grade 1 aural mark tongue.gif
sarah-flute
I got either 20 or 21 for my grade 3 aural (I forget exactly...) so I agree, only 18 is terrible...

different board, marked out of 20 or 21, I forget which smile.gif wink.gif
Andy-piano-flute
I got 17/18 for my grade 5 piano aural - I was very very pleased. When I was a kid I used to get 9 or 10 for the aural part so I've improved a bit with age!
Helen VJ
That's great, Andy! I guess one would hope to improve a bit, with age and experience and all those things wink.gif Shall we start taking bets on pianist 1210's final mark for her re-taken Grade 7? unsure.gif
Andy-piano-flute
We could do a sweepstake, couldn't we? laugh.gif

If I got that mark for grade 7 I wouldn't care if I'd got 11/18 for the aurals.
Helen VJ
No, nor me tongue.gif Perhaps that's because we're 'normal' (LOL) Or don't have ridiculous teachers. How will she feel if she gets 134? Or 136? But even if she gets in the 140s, I imagine it'll be a bit hollow. Can't get my head round it really..

i dont know exactly, but i reckon less than last time.....and id fall over laughing if his aural mark was worse
Helen VJ
Oh yes, sorry - keep forgetting 'pianist' is a HIM - thanks, Nat. Guess I can't imagine a bloke writing 'Oh my dear music!! I promise to love you for ever!!' Mind you, not many girls round this way would write it either.. unsure.gif
saxlover
i dont think anyone would write that. but hey. it gives me a good laugh when im down!! hehe

*walks off in hysterics*
nicki_flute
Sorry, this isn't very informative or a good post but: hahaha!!

Yes, my teacher was disappointed when I only got 1 bonus mark for my Grade 102 kazoo!
noodle
