I am trying to get the sheet music for the following songs from musicals, but these have so far proved impossible to find. Any ideas?
"My Brother Lives in San Francisco" from Elegies
"Home" from Phantom
"I Can Just Imagine It" from Windy City
"My True Love" Phantom
"New Worlds" from In the Beginning
Any ideas - they don't seem to appear in any of the mainstream Musical Theatre Anthologies
Any help appreciated,
David

Hey!
I don't have any really good suggestions but since your post is looking a little lonely I thought I'd just give my 2 cents! You could try searching some sheet music websites and music publishers websites. You could also just run a Google search. I'm not familier with those musicals so I really have no idea where you'd find the music other than searching websites which you've probably already done! Good luck in your search!

When I was trying to find the less popular Phantom songs I had a lot of trouble... They do seem to be quite un common songs, I don' have any in my musical theatre anthologies! Sorry!

The only thing I can think of is to look for recent productions and then contact the producers or musical directors of these shows, and ask them if they can put you in touch either with the composer directly or the publisher they've used for their scores. Explain you're doing this for your pupils' education, as this may get you a bit more goodwill.
Good luck
cheers

I have found some in case anyone's interested:
QUOTE
"My Brother Lives in San Francisco" from Elegies
appears in 'The Contemporary Singing Actor', Women's Edition, Volume 1 (published by Hal Leonard)
and
QUOTE
"My True Love" Phantom
appears in 'The Singers Musical Anthology', Soprano, Volume 2
The others are still proving a mystery.
