When ever i play the pieces there is like a buzzing in the backgroud the whole way throught the piece it doesnt happen when i play any other, piece unless they have lots of notes i dont think its my tounging? maybe its the muscels r something i dont know as it only happens when i play the pieces i dont know whats causing it any suggestion?

Is the buzzing coming from you or your instrument?
if its you thats buzzing then it might be that your embouche is a little sloppy and your buuzzing that your lips make to produce a sound is buzzing outside of the mouthpiece. If thats the case, then simply stop playing for a couple of minutes, and then make sure your embouche is correct when you start playing again.
If your instrument is buzzing then perhaps the screw on your third valve trigger isnt srewed up tighly enough, or your valve caps/bits that screw on the bottom of valves arent screwed up tighly enough.
If its neither of these then it may be something in the room buzzing. The note(s) you're playing may be at the same natural frequency as something in the room so whenever you play that note it "hums" along! If its niether you nor your instrumetn then try playing in a differenyt room and then listen to see if there's still a buzzing.
If none of the above then I have no idea!!

Hello trumpet geek, I'm also working my way through the Busser but I can't find a recording. My friend's just done his 8 so he plays bits of it from time to time but I'm also looking for a recording and I'll let you know anything I find.

Definately. I don't think anyone's EVER recorded Busser or Eben though... Unsurprising really!

I haven't got Busser on any of my CDs but Eben's "Windows" is on an EMI CD in the "Virtuosi" series, played by John Wallace - No. 7243 5 66293 2 5. Not my cup of tea, but I wish I could play like him!
Cheers, Chris
