Hello everyone!

Can anybody help? I had violin lessons from the age of 7 to 20 and stopped after uni. I managed to learn my grade 8 pieces yet did not take the exam (long story) which I bitterly regret. Now at 25 I really want to start lessons again, get up to that standard and beyond and sort out my technique. Does anybody know any good violin teachers in the birmingham area? I would be so grateful and very excited if this were so!

Blythy - if you are in the Solihull area you would be very welcome to join us for rehearsals of the Solihull Symphony orchestra - orchestral playing is wonderful for rapidly improving technique and any one who has reached grade 8 -ish would be very useful! You would have the incentive of regular concerts to encourage practice, and it's great fun!
