Hello
How often do you have your Piano tuned...I am having mine done as recommended every 6 months...
Does it matter if it was every year or should it depend on how much you use it.

Every 6 months. Should not need more than that, as a rule.

Pianos should be tuned at least once a year. Mine is tuned twice a year because it is used so much for teaching.

I have to tune it twice a year due to humidity changes throughout the year.

Alas whether you use it or not the seasons still change, and that takes its toll on the piano - once a year min, at least every six months if you can.
Like sharpening a knife - little and often!

Mine's tuned two or three times a year, but the sound will tell you when to tune it.

the once i decided to call the tuner to give it a quick tune up (this was after like 6 months no tuning)
he came , checked a few notes and said it didn't need tuning and left - no money!!!!
