Has anyone here sung the role of the shepard(tenor/alto-meant to sound like a young boy) in the Opera Tosca?? or has anyone ever seen the opera ??

I've seen Tosca a few times. I think it's the best of Puccini's operas (but not a patch on Wagner )
IIRC, Cecilia Bartoli made an early appearance as the shepherd in a performance of Tosca when she was a wee lass.
Of course, the best Tosca story is of the soprano with many enemies amongst the backstage crew, who had a trampoline ready for the end. She jumped off the balcony - then bounced back up again...

mmmm...and the best reference to read the best biography on Puccini is Roald Dahl...My Uncle Oswald...defo deserves a high tar rating of 3. (For those of you not in the know..middle tar rating 2....so-so..and low tar rating 1.....no comment )

Ive been put in a group who are going to audition for it as well as be the chorus it's only 3 pages of music so it won't be particully strenious(can't spell)
