Hi, just wondering which scales do you guys hate the most...
you one which you found most difficult....and most frustrating to practise and would never get it correct.....

Mine's Staccato solo in the left hand...I found them very hard to be even. (Whose led my marks down in the exams )

So what's yours??

i agree overall....

I generally like scales but I don't like having to do the one-handed chromatics for grade 8!

I like doing scales....

Except sometimes contary motion ones annoy me....

They're always annoying and difficult to get right...
I hate the staccato ones especially

I found the trickiest (for grade 7) chromatic scales in contrary motion...

I actually like doing all the others! Especially the ones in 3rds which sound really nice!

Aren't staccato and legato scales equally challenging to play? Generally, I neither hate or like any specific types of scales (but the arpeggios like Bb and Ab etc.)

no. I found the staccato ones much harder...espescially in my left hand (coz i m right-handed)
when i did my grade 7 and 8...it was a terrible time!!

That wouldn't happen to be coz you have to resit an exam because of them would it...?
