I recieved my Monthly Chandos Newsletter via E-Mail today and went over to listen to the excellent sound clips they have on display. Amongst the music one particular clip moved me to tears on first listening and that doesn't happen very often. It is a beautiful choral excerpt from "In Honour of the City" by George Dyson and the link to the page is Here
If you like powerful emotive choral music then please take 5 minutes to download and listen to the sound clip and see if it has the same effect on you.
On the evidence of this I may have to look further into Dyson's music.

Ive sung some Dyson before, with a huge choir in a cathedral and its great stuff!
