I got my G1 Theory result tonight. I got 98%. I have my G3 Violin on Wednesday. I have also got my G2 Piano comming up, my G1 Singing and Clarinet.
I don't like to miss any Grades out, beacause I like collecting the Certificates.
I know lots of peaople miss some out.
Do you like collecting certificates too?

Hi Daisy
Congratulations on passing your grade 1 theory - 98% is an excellent result. You must be very busy at the moment with so many exams coming up, let us know the results of those when you get them. When I took my first exam I didn't want to miss any out but to save time I've skipped grades as I need my grade 8 theory and diploma in piano to get into university and I don't want to leave it too late and be really old when and if I eventually get there!!!
Anyway well done again on your brilliant result and good luck with your other exams.

I started playing my clarinet in Jan 05, I am playing G2 pieces but I am taking my G1 first because I like collecting the Certificates. I realy like the Clarinet it is easier than the Violin.
My Piano I started Jan 04, I was supposed to take my G2 on the same day as my G3 Violin, but I chose to only do the 1, it was very hard doing two on one day last time. I only play Piano incase I go to music college. I realy want to be a vet.
My Violin I started September 02. I think it is very hard and I have to work hard at it, my mum likes it best. I play in seveal sections in the Grimsby Youth Orchestra. Violin and Clarinet.
I started singing A year ago, I just like it. I am not realy bothered about doing this exam but it helps me get better. I sing in the Orchestras Choir and at Church and mostly in the shower.
My mum helps me practice, she does not play anything, but she helps counting and can follow my music, she is getting quite good at it.
I have 2 great music teachers, my Violin and Piano teacher taught Matt from G4 to sing, she is great. We do lots of great stuff on the computer.
For Theory, Clarinet and singing I have someone else he is fantastic 2.

My 8 year old has just got grade 1 cello with distinction and grade 4 piano with distinction.
They both sat all the exams this over the last 2-3 weeks. The cellist had his exams a day apart with the same examiner. He was supposed to sit the same day like you but thought it was too much.
I would like to say you type and write very well. I wish my boys could write as well as you. Does your mum help you type what you want to say here?
