Well done, Nat - this should have done your confidence a power of good!
Bagpuss keeps threatening to put me in for Grade 1 flute, but considering that I can't even get a sound out of the *!?* thing I think she's being overly optimistic...(actually she just wants her revenge on me for making her learn solfa and paw-signs).

Hi, Nat,
wow 26 for your C piece... wish I could do that! Why aren't you doing grade 7? Is it because of what the examiner said about your A piece? If it is that, DON'T let him stop you!!! I hope that everything's ok and hope that you won't be away for long.

i had a terrible lesson today, and im just sick to death of doing piano exams. 3 in 9 mths is enough. im not enjoying it again and i think oding grade 7 will put me off for life. i cant do it.

Very sensible Nat. I took about two years between grade 5 and 6, and 7 will probably be at least a year away. No point puting pressure on yourself. Just enjoy playing.

Nat
How are the Uni applications going? In the sense that do you actually need grade 7 now before you go to Uni? Is getting grade 7 a condition of any of the offers?

It might be ok for you, but for someone like me, who is doing non stop exam work, plus exams on other instrument, plus alevels, plus other matters, its actually quite difficult
Sp- ive firmly accepted Bangors offer. no its not a must need for uni, but it would have helped and id liked to hav edone it. but ive got to stop thinking in dream land. i cant do it

Then in that case I think that you are doing exactly the right thing in not putting too much pressure on yourself to do grade 7. You can always do it once you are University and you will be in the right environment to do it, that's for sure!
