Yes if some one can suggest the easy way of starting to learn grade 6 theory I would be happy.

Grade 6 theory is not at all easy, and very different from the lowers grades (1-5). It would be in your interest to find a teacher who is confident to teach you this as you may find it a struggle on your own.

I have the same question too. Suggest some important books other than AB Guide Part 1 & 2. ABRSM can come forward to discuss previous year questions at length to throw more light on this topic

Grade 6 IS a difficult grade to start off with, more for theory. I suggest that you go through Harmony in Practice by Anna Butterworth. It'll give you a good foundation to your vocabulary of chords. Even though for the exam, you'd hardly be required to know the purpose and function of each chord (for example, #ivd7), it'll be good to know anyway. =) Try out past year papers as well. That should give you a good feel as to the standard of the questions asked. In a nutshell, Grade 6 is possible to pass with a lot of determination and hard work. =) Good luck.
