Does anyone in this forum know about the scholarship offered by ABRSM?? i'm quite interested and would like some information on that (as i can't find it anywhere...)

Might be best to phone the ABRSM offices and ask them to send you some info. I don't think the ABRSM themselves give scholarships, I think you will find that it is each individual music college (that forms the ABRSM) which offer scholarship funds to study at the relevent institution. Competition for a place is fierce, even for self-funding applicants.

let me clarify it....it's the ABRSM International Scholarship....it's for the people who are going to study in the RCM...... i've tried to look on the net as they have suggested....but can't find anything....

The ABRSM (International) Scholarship: All tuition fees plus a maintenance grant of 1000 UK pounds per term. Applicants must apply to the ABRSM. State the Royal College you wish to attend RAM,RCM, RSAMD, RNC, Please note that the Welsh Colleg of Music & Drama is not a part of this Associate Board set up!)(yet)

The ABRSM (UK) scholarship is usually but not exclusively for post grad home students.

does it matter if i state more than one college..... and if i'm applying to get in in year 2006 sept....do i need to get it move on and apply now????
