I was wondering what the tempo for the scales & arpeggios are for G6.
I ask this because I bought the red Scales and Arpeggios book instead of buying each and every scales book for the particular grades (which is alot more expensive).
Please answer ASAP.

Gr 6 piano minimum speed for scales minim=76; arpeggios, minim=50.
You could download the ABRSM booklet "These music exams" by Clara Taylor. It has lots of useful things in it including speeds of scales etc

I am sorry I didn't specify the instrument. It's just I only play Piano so I kind of forgot.



Also for scales is it semi-quavers 76, or quavers 76?

Scales - MINIMs =76 so quavers = 4x76 = 304
Arpeggios MINIMs=50 so quavers =4x50=200.
You're playing each note as a quaver.
