Are parallel 5ths still a big no-no if the same chord is repeated?
Helen VJ
Umm - NO! They have to move to be parallel.

no way..... possibly bach might scream if u do that.....

If the same interval of a fifth is repeated its called oblique motion - this is allowed, eg, CG CG

If it is in something like a Bach choral personally I wouldn’t just from a stylistic view. To get away from this you could invert the chord or if you do want to keep the 5ths you could always add either a passing note or auxiliary note to detract from the fact you have used the same chord twice.
