ive got my grade 3 in th summer nd i am sooo not prepared 4 it!
i feel so sure that im going 2 fail cus all i know is my pieces - i cant do sightreading or scales or nethin else!!!
help!!! is ne1 else in this situation??? pls write back

I took my grade 4 around easter time and was really worried coz I hadn't practised any scales, sight reading or aural and this was about 4 weeks before i took the exam and i passed with distinction so I wouldn't worry coz you've still got plenty of time to learn them. Good luck with your exam, i'm sure you'll do fine

i paly clarinet too!

well if you can do your pieces, it a start!

just learn a few scales at a time and you will start to remember them. and im sure your teacher will keep doing sight reading and aural with you- so you will get better at them

You must be ready, or certainly will be before your exam because your teacher wouldn' enter you if they didn't think you'd be ready.

You can buy CD+book to help with aurals and you can buy several books with sight reading in. These will help you improve, good luck

By the way, don't forget pieces are worth 90 total and others 60 total so if you get 70+ for pieces you're likely to pass!
