Hi guys,
Im realtively new to this site. Im currently in my 2nd year of uni doing music and am incredibly stressed!Does anyone have any suggestions on how to de-stress?! Im in urgent need of anything!

Hello,
If you play the piano then sit down with no music infront of you and play what ever comes in your head, no matter how daft it may seem. I suppose it would work with any instrument.
This helps me to de-stress!

Hi.
During my stressed times I've tried tea, coffee, smoking and alcohol. May I suggest that you never ever follow any of my stress cures.
Slightly more seriously, I find exercise a godsend - this last year I have done 15 hours a week in the gym on very stressful weeks, with 4 or 8 hours on less stressful weeks. Of course, sometimes you get so tired you can't exercise. At that point sleep solves stress problems.

hi,i'm a uni student too. When i find myself really stressed, then i would go to the piano to play whatever i like for 1 and a half hours, then i would feel really refreshed.

Sorry, I haven't replied!Im at Bristol. Why? do you know something I don't! Are you at uni, presumably not goin by your log name, I would be guessing that you are at some sort of further education tho, you'll have to let me know.
