Hi,
Who have joined the school choir or others?

If you weren't in the "orchestra" at primary school, you were in the choir. I was in the orchestra so wasn't in choir in primary school!

At secondary school I started Junior Choir, then they made a special choir for people who could hold parts which I joined. When I was old enough I joined senior choir!

The best thing I ever sung was a sister act medley, I really enjoyed singing it! What do you sing in yours?

Our school choir has dispart in two parts.
One is soprano and the other is alto.
I am in soprano part.

I'm in the soprano part for senior choir, but alto/second sorpano for the others. That's because all the first year's sing the soprano part in festival part because they can't hold a separate part!

In school I was in the school choir my whole time, junior then senior. Also sang in a choir at a local music school. At uni I was in the college choir. Nowadays I sing in the music group at church although we haven't been together for a while because one of our main people has had depression and so we had to stop.

i'm quite depressed in choir recently..... the reason is that the chaplian doesn't really like me.... and she bascially "stops" me from doing solos or psalms in services.....keep me in the choir for most of the time.... it's because i have a rather huge, rich voice, unlike most of the people in my school and she doesn't really like it....i only get 2 this term....i used to have loads....how sad....the trouble is i don't feel the recognition by the people....i mean i've achieved a merit in grade 8 singing.... my singing teacher encourages me a lot...(she's great)

i like the other choir that i'm in....i might be the head next year for that choir.... we do stuff that i generally enjoy.....

I'd rather sing in the background, or in a small choir than do solos!

I've done 2 solos at our schools xmas concerts. Thats the only time i sing.....*everyone breathes a sigh of relief!*

lol I did quite a few at primary school, it was quite novel for them to actually have someone who knew what a tune was! Plus I still had the "cute" factor (if you can call it cute!) which was probably the reason!

I went to secondary school, did the "once in royal david's city" solo and have never done one since!

I like singing, but singing by myself, infact playing/singing anything by myself is my idea of a nightmare!
saxlover
a nightmare- yeas i know

but when you have a head of music , who wont take no for an answer from me! i have no choice! or he'll just moan at me!!

I've been in the same choral group for about 10 years. There's different choirs for different ages. I'm now in the Concert Choir which is the oldest group. I'm also in a small ensemble. We do mostly madrigals and jazz. It's a lot of fun, I love choir!

Oh, I'm an alto btw.
