Hello there, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have been asked to accompany a violinist playing sonatas by Carbonelli. He was composer to the first Duke of Rutland (Belvoir Castle) and we are going to perform it there to the present Duke and his family. I can only find a copy with figured bass and solo line; and I am a bit rusty on the old figured bass not having had to use it since uni days, a long time ago! Anyone know of a realised edition, particularly the 7th sonata in A minor. A long shot, I know but perhaps.....
Thanks

Sorry, can't help with music. If you're unsuccessful finding it, why don,t you try pencilling in chord symbols over the figured bass? Like, if it's a B bass note in A minor, for instance, with 6 4 written over it, you write E/B; or a C with 6 3 , would become Am/C. You don't even need to add the bass note, as you're reading it. G# with no numbers would be G#dim , etc. Good luck, anyway.
