I am currently creating my own instrumental curriculum based on guidelines from Common Approach. Does anyone know of any books,resources or websites that tackle this topic specifcally, or has anyone created their own curriculum?

I tend to create a termly plan for each pupil. I have found that the Common Approach curriculum is OK if you have model pupils, but I find it is too rigid. I look at the targets for each level and then create my own curriculum. I tried planning lessons individually but I found that this didn't really work because of other factors which influence how the lesson progresses.
