Has anyone played this wind band piece by Frank Tichelli. I orginally loved it for the fab clarinet solo near the end, but the whole piece is amazing. It really shows up good ensemble playing, and it is also a rare successful crossover of classical and jazz.

My band played it last year, but I played 3rd clarinet. It got us a gold at the British finals at Manchester though.

Apparently not then! What a shame, it's such a good piece, as is most Tichelli.
