Evenin' all! Came on the computer to check the TV listings but there's nothing on until 9 p.m.
That sounds like it may be a choir related programme.... I'm going to record it, and watch it later...

Yep! Although I also really like "New Tricks" - sad I know, so I tend to flick backwards and forwards between the two, which sometimes causes some int'resting moments

let BBC Iplayer be your friend!

Yeeees, but I feel neither programme really merits my *undivided* attention, and thus watching both at once is less wasteful of my time....we women can multitask you know
Gonna go now and pour myself a large glass of something to aid the process

I think so, or they could have been magic self-cooking sausages
There was a worm in a plum though.

I may have thrown it across the kitchen as i jumped backwards about a mile

Yum, a nice additional bit of protein.
Customer in a restaurant: "Waitress, there's a worm in my food"
Waitress: "That's not a worm. It's fat"
Customer: "Well, it should be fat. It's eaten half of my dinner"
Groan.....

not too bad.
my dog has just half-eaten my brace, so i'm slightly annoyed with her at the moment

also not really too sure what i should do about it (can imagine what the orthodontist will say if i tell hime the dog ate it

sarah123
Feb 15 2008, 11:09 PM
ouch!! lol
I just heard this crunching noise coming from the next room, went in there and she was sitting there with little bits of wire all over the place
Holz Gedeckt
Feb 15 2008, 11:12 PM
She hasn't swallowed any of it, has she? It could make her rather poorly.
Your cooking, I mean.....
sarah123
Feb 15 2008, 11:18 PM
oooo, that hurt

I think all the wire is accounted for, she might have eaten some plastic, but given the ammount of balls etc she eats, i doubt that will do her any harm.

Feb 15 2008, 11:30 PM
Is she a musical dog?
One of my cats tolerates music, and comes into the music room when I'm teaching and tries climbing over the piano.
The other one hears me play, and runs away!
sarah123
Feb 15 2008, 11:35 PM
Well she sits under the piano while i play, but i'm not sure thats because of the music - most likely just in hope of food.
I brought my recorder downstairs to play for the first time the other day (normally play up in my room), and she really didnt know what to think of it. First, she sat with her fur all spiked up,growling, but now she keeps licking the end while i'm playing!

It isnt half annoying.
The cat used to sit and listen me playing the recorder though (until i started playing a piece with high Abs in

)
Holz Gedeckt
Feb 15 2008, 11:38 PM
Sweet!
I used to have a budgie (before the cats) who used to perch on my music whilst I was playing and, when I turned pages, used to go over with the page as I turned it, and then walk along to the right-hand side page ready for the next page turn! And he used to sing along too!

my friend's cat used to pounce on her bow while she was playing the violin.

sarah123

microwave

Apparently someone tried to dry out their poodle in a microwave once - they used to do it in the oven and it was fine, and assumed it would be fine in a microwave too. They got a bit of a nasty surprise. AND then they sued the microwave company for not putting not to put poodles in it in the instruction manual

I'm not quite sure how i've managed it!
