The head-joint cracked and was generally pretty poorly, so i sent it to be fixed/replaced. They gave me a replacement, but also sent the old one back too, only the block's gone - I really have no reason why they didnt just throw it away lol

It's for inventory purposes. The manufacturer has to keep track of what broke and is their product so they can figure out how much to make in the future, what prices to set relative to rising inflation/stagflation in the economy, etc etc.

I think it takes a couple of days before you actually get on after registering, but sometimes it might take it a bit longer. Try PMing one of the mods about it - tell them your friends username, and they might be able to help.

My cold has almost gome now thanks. A couple of really lazy days sitting at the computer writing music articles seems to have done the trick.

No complaints so far..unless of course I woke someone up this morning!! They probably think anything is better than my feeble attempts on the clarinet last year! 
I must send you the sheet of exercises. I am going to let my hens out now. It was too wet earlier. I am down to one cockerel and seven ladies now. Two years ago I was winning several prizes at the Anglesey show including the first prise for best hen's egg. Ah well. I still have my champion egg layer's daughter here even if her mam did get squashed.

Petra Hen was run over by neighbour's little brother last year1 I think that their dogs had the last cockerel as I found feathers just outside their fence where the one leaps over. A bit suspicious!

I spent about 4/4.5 hours solidly playing chords on the guitar at this music workshop I've been doing for the past 2 days. and my fingers REALLY hurt

I had an email askin me to recorder up a christmas concert in gloucester cathedral (like 11 second echo) infront of like 200 peoples
then email saying like my composition is very like to get performed in paris.
Then one more email giving me complimentary tickets to the proms.
my mum then making tea gives me the peapods for wine and I dont want to be rude and say 'I dont much fancy p wine' so there we are.
