Breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner for me.
Not that I have them all, I normally don't have breakfast, but I have brunch, tea and then dinner.
Should probably be getting to bed, but am feeling a little stressed now. Tomorrow, ballet school's boss is in the house. Eek!

Not enough sleep from the little boy's misadventures with eczema almost every night.
I know that one - I'm usually up two or three times a night. Have you tried Savlon? Often eczema itches because it's infected, and the Savlon helps deal with that, as well as being mildly moisturising.
Irritatingly enough, I went back to bed for an hour this afternoon and only managed an hour before I woke up too hot and scratching

. Feel a bit better for it though; that, and the 72% cocoa solids chocolate I've been snacking on

.
Savlon???

No way! Savlon cannot help eczema that's so severe that consultants give him oral steroids to swallow daily (strong stuff you use for sudden asthma attacks) and GPs give him antibiotics... But thanks for your kind thoughts, YAP.

I've only been given topical corticosteroids so far, which I use if it's really bad, but the problem is that it's on my face at the moment and I can't use the too much there as they thin the skin. The only thing I've found to help apart from them is Savlon.
Anyhow, he has my full sympathy

Hi all
Finished teaching at 5pm (some last minute cancellations due to "bug" going round ggggrrrrrrr!

- shopped - came home and made
DINNER (baked potatoes, cumberland sausage with a side salad dressed with wholegrain mustard vinaigrette, and fresh fruit to follow and coffee, of course.
Now, doing a couple of hours practise for a concert (not till November 30th, but lots of new material) so will stop by later (much later) and see if anyone has popped in for a (late) night cap.
Don't forget, it's homemade raisin crumble cake for tomorrow's breakfast. Raisins are already soaking in brandy (see what 30 years teaching does for you!) and oven timer will be set for 7.00am.......a martyr to food.
Might catch a few late nighters

Hi YAP, there's only one steroid cream that does not thin the skin and my toddler son uses it on his face. It's very effective for face and neck and it's called Tacrolimus. It was prescribed by the hospital.

Tried everything for my eldest until we got him onto fish oils (omega 3s and all that stuff).. Worked like magic and a five year problem was 95% solved within a week!...

Our cat's been losing weight for a while - nothing serious at first; she was a bit podgy anyway and we had changed her food and thought she was just being fussy. But the weight loss has suddenly got much worse, and she's scarcely eating anything. I phoned the vet on Friday, and she's got an appointment first thing on Monday, but she's been getting weaker today and we're really worried.
And the forums haven't been a very nice place to be this evening..
