Forgive me......I know I'm a "newbie" and most of you seem to seasoned "forumers" but, having just come in from spending the afternoon up a ladder *winces with pain and polishes up the zimmer frame* can someone tell me why the deletive expletive outburst was from one"funkybassoon"?
Has he got a Bflat in his bonnet about something. I'm not really concerned about it if he has, but why bring all that venom into the cafe?
Just curious.......you all seem such a nice crowd!

Hi nicki-flute
When I recover from being up a ladder all afternoon, I'll sort out that recipe. Pity there isn't any left - it would save me making a pud for dinner

Spuds rescued (par boiling before slicing and frying with olive oil, garlic and chopped bacon

- just waiting for microwave to go "ping" with some red wine sauce....and then "a la table".
Anyone joining me? Still haven't decided on pud, I'm afraid. No time to make anything today. I should really do some organ practise after dinner, but my hands hurt after holding onto a ladder with one and a paint brush with the other.
(audible "PING" in the distance)
Dinner time! Hope someone's had the sense to open the wine.
Enjoy the evening everyone

A quick update on the success of the people-speaking section of the recordings site: if the recordings of people speaking were allowed into the top 10 recordings section, nos. 2,3,4,6 and 8 would be recordings of people's voices

I'm not sure why but that struck me as very funny.
What mischief might YAP be getting up to in Scotland? Who can tell!
By the sounds of it a Scotland forum users' concert would be viable, lots of folk up there at the moment!
That's cool about the voices section - any new ones that I've missed?
Now I'm very curious as to who would be at number 2 - I'm guessing Nat!

Andrea, you say it almost like being mad is a bad thing

Helen, if I get any bright ideas....
