What's up Sarah?

Cheer up soon!!
Heya all!!

I've still got my poppy for remembrance day!! Did anyone have the 2 minute silence?
We did! But the clock in the French room is fast so we had it about 3 mins before everyone else. Then we got let out for break and everyone else was silent.

A bell rang for the start and end of the silence in our school. But a few seconds in, a very loud rendition of Happy Birthdayâ„¢ came from a neighbouring class. I didn't manage to find out if it was deliberate, but it petered out after the first two lines

Nov 12 2005, 12:04 AM

Scary, isn't it. This one shouldn't *points finger sternly* because it's new....but my netstat connection list was quite long the other day...despite mcafee....

Hi there
These forums are addictive (aren't they??) I only came upstairs for a piece of music, and here I am.
1000th posting - most popular forum, eh!
saxlover
Nov 12 2005, 12:16 AM
LOL popular indeed.
Yes they are so addictive..I hardly posted when I first came on here.

Thank goodness for broadband - I can leave the pc on and keep dashing over when I'm working upstairs.
I'm on another forum for organists and you nearly have to wait for the next full moon before anyone responds - ho-hum!
saxlover
Nov 12 2005, 12:20 AM
I hate forums like that...I just tend to not post!
And stick to my fave ones!
diapason
Nov 12 2005, 12:24 AM
mmmm....except that lately we had a similar incident to the one here recently with name of Funkybassoon (whispers quietly)
Needless to say forum was suspended and all his/her?? posts removed. That was the most exciting thing that ever happened on it.
Trouble is, organists tend to give the impression that we're all doddering old men with cobwebs round our shoulders.
I expect I'll get a roasting from mrbouffant for saying that
but this forum is the best thing since sliced bread!
saxlover
Nov 12 2005, 12:25 AM
I guess all forums get someone people like that..who think they are above the forum and everyone else
diapason
Nov 12 2005, 12:28 AM
True........however, m'dear, I hate to be a party-pooper, but I really must drag myself away, find that piece of music, and take it, and that cup of hot chocolate to bed and do some last minute score-reading before tomorrow's first pupil - at 8.30 am

(doesn't that sound sad!)
If they haven't been blown away by the gales
Night night, God Bless

Goodnight
