The content of a “troll posting†may consist of:
* A personal attack on other forums users
* An apparently foolish contradiction of common knowledge
* A deliberately offensive insult to readers of a forum or discussion thread
* A broad request for trivial follow-up postings
Best way to cope with a troll is not to respond (that's what they want - attention and a reaction) Contact one of the moderation team and let us deal with it.

If you log off, it registers you as 'off' as in offline. But if you just close the browser and go off and do something else, apparently you are still 'on'. Is that right?

i dont know. i suppose thats what would happen if still had your internet connection up
uberzoldat
Jun 2 2005, 06:37 PM
Under your name, there are three buttons at the bottom. The one on the far left says either 'on' or 'off' depending if you are online or not. My connection is always on, so I guess I have to log off everytime I go off and do something else.

I think it's so others can view your profile card, but maybe the moderators haven't linked it to work. Not 100% sure on that one though.

ok usually im the most incorrect person there is. But let me correct you....you cannot make a new religion, a religion is what 10,000 or more people follow. Less than 10,000 people and it is a cult.
WOW the geekiness of this post

A zealot is someone who has really strong opinions about something, and tries to make other people have them too. Like zealots of a cult.

I believe it's your round. Add reply is the standard reply route, fast reply is when a box appears at the bottom of the screen you are already on for you to just type in, quickly. You have to scroll down a bit to see it.

L’audace !
Wobby
And for all of those that can't understand French,
Translation:
"Come, sit down! You seem tired! Stay for a moment, have a drink! Remember to pay at the counter! Don't forget! We are very sorry, but we don't have any Stella Artois, it's too expensive! But there is always the finest coffee, which can be bought only here, at the ABRSM Café, in which the friendliest people can be found! Enjoy yourselves, and most of all, spend lots of money!"
Ahem, how dare you speak of such things, about another bar! The audacity!
