I don't have that many post nominals, just a degree and a DipABRSM. It's just that Durham chuck in an extra six letters with each degree

Um, maybe, it really depends if I can get my head round most of it before the deadline for entries passes (and I'm aware that's in a couple of weeks). I think (THINK) I understand figured bass now, but harmonising I'm not sure on, and I've got no teacher to check if I'm right or anything.

nor me chap, my approach is give it a go and see what happens! If you can afford the entry fee why not have a bash too?
which books are you using for guidance?
I think I'm doing Grade 7 Practical Musicianship instead

The little Eric Taylor AB Guide to Music Theory Part II, and the Music Theory in Practice Grade 6. They're not exactly riveting reads.
Yes, the Music Theory in Practice isn't exactly aligned question-by-question is it with the syllabus.. Bit confusing I think...
If AP and I are feeling mad enough, we might have a go too. It's not like we'd start preparing any sooner than a couple of months before the exam even if we delayed it
