Sorry - several pages later - I've just thought of a brilliant new invention - remote controlloed adjustable piano stools!!!!! The number of times I find myself with 2 successive pupils who are the same size is .... well think of blue moons! So with a hand-held device to push a button the wrist would be spared a lot of twisting motions!!! (I generally have to rotate the handle myself on the school piano stools as some of my pupils are too wee and weak to cope by themselves. Oh my poor wrists!!!

Well I had a good day. Mmmm good mash this Earl Grey.
I've done year 2001 Grade 5 papers (one more to do), bought a new microwave oven (Jacket potatoes anyone?). Had a walk across the fields with Archie, and in 10 mins am out for Orchestra rehearsal.
And I nearly forgot, a brill game of Mornington Crescent
Its Bruckner 4 tonight.....ooohh better get my tubi grip on the right wrist for all that tremolando in the second violins.
Better get Nat another stiff drink and the house special, Valium on toast!
