Same here. I have so much work to do over Easter excluding revision that it is unreal. I have to prepare my flute piece so I can get a decent grade in the recital. However I feel a mess, both mentally and physically, which doesn't help in the slightest.

Well...I am really tired anyway because I push myself to work hard, and it is the end of a long term. I end up getting stressed over everything and thus give myself headaches, which is really stupid.
What made me feel especially down today, is in Music, lesson 6 (last lesson), I basically got told I need to redo all of my music compositions. Which would have been fine, but the last time she saw them, she said I only needed to tweak minor things and then they'd be fine. I have a whole A4 sheet of school work to be done as well as revision. I am scared by the piece I have to play in my recital, which is work 30% I think.

This music teacher of yours doesn't sound very competent (judging from this and previous posts)...
Can you change your piece to one you know better? Or is it too late?

Don't worry dude, you can crack it!

She isn't at all! I have done more than most people.
Definitely not changing my piece, I can play it, but need to learn how to feel relaxed with it.
I hope I can crack it.

Yes, I am. I do like th sound of the clarinet (in the right hands of course)
I suppose it's restarting really but as it's about 35 years since I played it will be almost completely new to me. It's so good of Sarah to loan me her redundant clarinet as my main concern over playing a secanod instrument is that it would just be an expensive toy. This way I can try it and see if I'm likely to stick at it.

Yay! Lovely to see Sarah's clarinet getting some good use, that's really good of her to lend it to you!

I dunno - surrogate organs now.
Have you ever played any of this "new" wedding music from Kevin Mayhew's captive composers?
It's a bit "eeeyukk"!
They churn stuff out like conveyor belts. I browsed through most of the collection at Forsythe's in Manchester on Wednesday and decided to keep my money in my pocket.
