i've just got 115 on grade 5 piano!

had hoped for a merit, but i did really mess up the exam and it was just after gcse's too, so its not that bad really. but i was heavily critisised for pedalling (according to my teacher - i don't have the comment sheet yet) so i'll have to practice that lots more

so not over the moon with myself (should have practised more!!), but thats another exam done, and i wouldn't retake it to get a better mark so i suppose that means im happy with it!

i took Grade 5 Piano 2 days after my last GCSE exam and got about the same mark...and thanks to saying it on here i got HEAVILY criticised for it

less said the better. i was sort of hoping for near enough a merit as well but oh well
congratulations on your result.
what pieces did you play? i did the Rondo, La Tarentelle and New Orleans Nightfall

Hi everyone I'm back! I did make the distance (26 miles) after all. It was so incredibly hilly!!

I did it in 2 and a quarter hours which wasn't great but at least I got there! My friend dropped me halfway back so I only had to ride 13 miles yesterday.

My next challenge is to get there and back in a weekend! Hows everyone else?

Oh no sorry I didn't mean on here, definitely not! I meant maybe we all ought to privately think and see if we learnt anything that will make the forums a better place. Of course some will have to do more thinking and analysing than others. . . .

Do you see your girflfriend/boyfriend as
1) Red Milk Tea
2) Green Tea
3) Orange Juice
4) Malt drink
5) Coffee
6) Milk
7) Cocktail
8) Water
Or any member of the opposite sex will do... the answer should be accurate.

A second-hand Nokia 7610 off eBay.

Aug 1 2005, 09:41 PM
Good choice! But then I'm biased seeing as my dad works for Nokia. They do make good phones though, and they seem to be unbreakable (well mine is anyway!)
Trebor
Aug 1 2005, 09:43 PM
Yeah, my old Nokia 3510i is really tough (I went through a period of trying to "accidentally" break it, so my parents might part-pay for a new phone, but it kept working fine)
purple dolphin
Aug 1 2005, 09:53 PM
I have a 3510i! It's getting a bit old now though. My dad had to pick me up a new battery from his office as mine ran out of power after about 18 months due to a fault. I have also tried the accidentally breaking it thing, and I have the same problem. It managed to survive a 9 metre drop down 3 or 4 flights of stairs! But that really was an accident, as I wouldn't try to break it that much. If you impair it then paents seem to be more sympathetic towards getting a new one. If you break it then hey just blame you and say no.
Trebor
Aug 1 2005, 09:55 PM
Ahhh, the 3510i. What a great phone (and the only one I've ever owned). Comes with backgammon, tennis and the parachutey game. *sob* I hope I can give it up
