Hot X Buns and croissants are warming in the oven - coffee (Blue Mountain seeing as it's Easter) is filtering - care to join us for Easter Breakfast?
Dull and dreary here today after a LOVELY sunny day yesterday.
Took Mum to visit Dad in hospital (signs of improvement there) and then we three (Mum, J and I) went out to dinner where Mum (88 years old) attracted the attentions of a lone gentleman diner (80's we guess) who offered Mum a glass of wine, and told her his life story across the table.
Mum graciously showed an interest and accepted the wine, after which we beat a hasty retreat, Mum in fits of laughter over the fact she'd been picked up at her age. She says "don't tell your father - at least, until he's MUCH better!!"
She's still laughing about it this morning
