Trolling = the act of posting something inflamatory just to wind up the normal contributors on the board
e.g. "I've been learning violin for 3 weeks and am now at Grade 5 standard.. can I put in a late exam entry?" etc etc

I just asked CMORRIS what trolling was (it was really irritating me) and she said:
Trolling constitutes one or a series of posts from a user with the deliberate intention of inciting controversy or to cause annoyance or offence to other users.

I hadn't noticed that until you pointed it out. It only appears visible to the poster themselves (ie I can only see it on my own posts)
I guess it is a reminder to each of us in case we have not been behaving on the board according to the rules.
Seems like a good idea.
