I had a terrible day too, spent my free periods crying. One of my friends is going to Scotland to live tomorrow. She told us all today. Talk about a shock! To top that off I have a band course tomorrow (10-4 on Sat and Sun) and a lot of homework to do.

Very....final. Our squadron's not closing, but our commanding officer is leaving. Gave me some life advice and what he wanted me to do etc etc. I'm in tears now just thinking about it. It's such a shame that he's leaving. He might not have been the best officer, but still a great guy.

It is, I noticed that today.

Band was good - it was my first rehearsal in the senior band today...and it was great fun! The conductor is very chilled, which is a good thing.
