Joyriders pills work ok some of the time but others just make me drowsy and even sicker. I've found the BEST anti travel sick remedy though: MUSIC (seriously!) I just plug in my cd player on any plane, bus, coach, car and it works! Ive not been on a ferry since i was seven that time i think...

Bad thing is that after about 2 or 3 hours, ears start hurting and im not sure if its good for ears to listen that long..

Opposite with me. If I get a bit travel sicky, I like it to be as quiet as possible.

Hey everyone...what does IPB stand for? I listen to music to stop myself being travel sick too!! It totally does work!! I hate reading when travelling though...do not read if you get travel sick easily!! But the bands work, they're really groovy.

I looked it up and IPB stands for Invision Power Board which is made by Invision Power Services and is the product the forum is made from.

Is it just me, or is it unusually cold today? I've been frozen stiff all day and now my hands are turning white

I have been "brr-ing" all day! I went out in like a t shirt and light zip up top, and I was freezing! The room where my course was in was even colder. Now I am wearing 3 layers on top, and some furry slippers, and I have aksed for the heating to be on.
Hmm yes, well I don't know why my hands go blue/purple when they're cold!

*HUGS* from me too, nicki.
I think part of the problem is that teachers seem to think you HAVE 3 day weekends, in order to finish all the work they set you. Way too much. They should never give you more than can be completed AND give you some time off.

Don't work yourself too hard - I know I might sometimes come across as a bossy ###### when trying to get ensemble recordings together but don't do it at the expense of your health.
Anyone for virtual chicken soup? Home-made, not out of a tin.

I won't, I promise. Haven't touched either of my string instruments this whole week. To be honest doing recordings for here is much more fun than the other things that've made me tired this week
