Yet being the relevant word though, surely? If you really needed a distinction and you hadn't got it, then

, but getting a good healthy pass mark in a prelim some months before the actual exam is surely a reason for celebration. You have, what, 2 or 3 months to improve? If it's a prelim you presumably get to see the paper and can spot any silly mistakes that you won't make again, plus you have a great chance to see where you have room for improvement... so why the long face?

Mar 30 2007, 10:04 PM
You're right, I did alot better than I thought, and the majority of people in my class who got below 50%. I dont need distinction, though the cheque would be lovely! I dont even need to do the theory exam as I did it a few years ago but only scraped a pass and its getting paid for this time round so worth another shot. I think I need it maybe to do my LLCM next year and it would be nice to have at least a merit or something.

I'm here and I'm alrightish. We all went out to the pub yesterday after rehearsal and about 3/4 of us got IDed and had to go, annoyingly (and I'm teetotal as well!). So I stood outside with a friend and let the awkward silence envelope me while trying to make conversation and I'm hoping I wasn't too much of an evil *****.
On the plus side, it's sunny and it's Easter break!

Yeah, it's worse when it's for someone's birthday - happened to us at a bar for someone's 18th as well but we were roughly half-underage and half not and we'd all just been to Pizza Hut and had a great time anyway. The best part is that two of my friends got in without ID - because everyone without ID went except them, they somehow got missed! It's annoying that the licensing is such that if you're in there and not drinking you still have to have ID - buying a drink yeah, but just standing there chatting?
It's not so much of a problem now but because so many of my friends are nearly 18 (and I'm nowhere near) it could get tricky later darnit. Bleh.

Not much, went shopping as it's my parents' anniversary tomorrow, did a Horn practice, watched Friends and finally sorted myself out with an MSN account, but haven't done any revision or work today (though I'm not sure whether I care about this or not) and still need to sort out meet-ups with two different people.
