Afternoon!

Right, done special focus for Gabrieli, now going over keyboard and remembering not enough, still have continuity and change and listening practice.

Aargh!

Yeh, I've not finished Brahms, and going over pop and jazz. I'm not sure I'm going to remember it though.
I counted and I have 10 (!!) pop and jazz set works, and the Brahms is so complex.
Need to do past questions, listening practice, remember composer dates...

Have 7 Sacred vocal works, but did one of them in the Special focus work.

for keyboard!
If in doubt in the listening write "chamber music" unless it obviously isn't - gets you 1/2 a mark.
I always have trouble telling the difference between ensembles that are by Beethoven and the ones that aren't!

Is that for the "larger work" thing, or the performance circumstances.
Yes - me too

'Fraid I don't even know what Ravvivando (sp??) means

. Ravishingly? In the manner of a Rav4?
Perhaps I did know once, but my brain is feeling a bit befuzzled today.
Need a caffeine injection anyone?

Have ditched the caffeine idea. Computer is being annoying as hubbie is trying to fill his Ipod. Have realised (due to my crabby mood

and lack of patience) that I had a very late night last night, and need to catch up on some sleep
Night All.
P.S. Pink stripes is a a good idea. Just make sure you use a decent plumb line to get them straight.

How are you?

I am extremely tired!! It was something called 'Club Day' today where i live, where basically there's a fair, and a parade and everyone gets drunk

. I swear I have never walked so much in my life!!! My legs hurt when i try and move, and i have a blister on the bottom of my foot

Twas fun though!

How are you?
Miss Ross
Jun 23 2007, 09:34 PM
Sounds good

but not the blister thing

.
I'm ok thanks. We went to the continental market down in Inverness today, and I had a conversation with a frenchman who was selling cheese. I'm not entirely sure what he said, but I'm pretty sure I managed to put across that 'j'aime le fromage'
PianoSecrets-x
Jun 23 2007, 09:36 PM
Haha! Putting your French to good use then?!

What are you upto tomorrow?
Miss Ross
Jun 23 2007, 09:39 PM
Definitely! Now if I ever go to France I can wander around with an intelligent expression and tell people in extortionate detail that 'I like cheese'

I don't think I'm doing much tomorrow, I need to finish writing out the 4th conjugation in latin, and perhaps visit my Nan and order some more prospectuses (My english is appaling, should that be prospectae or someting?!

) - very exciting stuff!!
What about you?
PianoSecrets-x
Jun 23 2007, 09:46 PM
Ahh the joy of 4th conjugation verbs!!

Don't you just love them?
I think i may be going shopping with my mum. I need some new shoes! The ones that i have been wearing to school have holes in the sole, so whenever i wear them and it's been raining, my socks get soaked
Miss Ross
Jun 23 2007, 10:05 PM
Yeah, sounds like you need new shoes!

Only one more day of freedom (aka the weekend!) I think this is the perfect quote, which I found on someone's profile - "Weekends are like rainbows - they look lovely from a distance but they disappear when you get close up...". I can't remember who had it on their profile, but thankyou!!
You're not in school at the moment are you? When do you go back?
PianoSecrets-x
Jun 23 2007, 10:09 PM

I go back to school officially on the 6th of September, but there are a few odd days before that where I have to be in for an hour or so for rehersals
