Or the Jasper Carrott insurance claims (taken from real claim forms, or so he said):
Coming home, I drove into the wrong house and collided with a tree I didn't have.
I thought my window was down, but I found it was up when I put my head through it.
The guy was all over the road, I had to swerve a number of times before I hit him.
I pulled away from the side of the road, glanced at my mother-in-law and headed over the embankment
In an attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole.
I had been shopping for plants all day and was on my way home. As I reached an junction, a hedge sprang up, obscuring my vision and I did not see the other car.
I had been driving for 40 years when I fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident.
I was on my way to the doctor with rear end trouble when my universal joint gave way, causing me to have an accident.
An invisible car came out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished.

If anyone has a good reason why these to should not be married, please say so now or let them be forever together in peace...

Oh, only a few thousand!
Incidentally for a Sociology essay, I found out how much the average wedding cost:
"
Heavy cost
The traditional custom is for the bride's father to pay for the cost of the wedding, but this practice is changing with many couples now expecting to meet the cost themselves.
The average total cost of a wedding today is £15,244, a figure that rises to an astronomical £18,154 for weddings taking place in London.
The main costs of the day are the reception after the wedding, on which couples spend an average of £5,000, and then the honeymoon which costs about £4,500. Couples are also spending £1,750 on rings, £750 on the bride's dress and £340 on their 'going away' outfit.
The cost of being a wedding guest is also rising. It is estimated that the combined costs of travel, accommodation, a gift and a new outfit will cost an average £294."
